Introduction
The main aim of the United School library is to facilitate the students and the whole school community including teachers and non-teaching staff in the teaching and learning process. It has varieties of books that encourage students to reach their full potential as independent learners and develop a positive attitude to life-long learning. The library fosters the habit of reading as a recreational activity in all members of the school and it supports the school’s curriculum by providing access to relevant resources for students as well as staff. For easy and quick access to resources available there are level-wise libraries for – Pre-School, Primary, Lower secondary, and Secondary levels.
Totally we have 10540 books, 500 different magazines, and 50 cartographic materials. Primary and Pre-school library provides large font and illustrated books to motivate young learners to read and learn whereas huge varieties of fictional books are available in the secondary library.
